Dalton Carpet Outlet has been locally owned and operated since its founding over 25 years ago. Dalton Carpet Outlet now comprises five successful locations selling a combined total of over one and a half million square feet of flooring every year to satisfied customers throughout Northeast Wisconsin and the Lakeshore region.

Learn how we got to where we are today

From humble beginnings...Dalton Carpet Outlet commenced operations with the opening of its first store in Manitowoc, Wisconsin in September 1994.

The local community quickly embraced the concept of a "carpet outlet" retail store, and a 2nd store was opened in Sheboygan in 1995.

The carpet outlet experience was brought to the Fox Cities market with the opening of a 3rd Dalton Carpet Outlet location on Appleton's west side in September 1997.

In 2000, we moved from a leased building in Sheboygan to a permanent location. A corporate office was also added in Manitowoc that year, with a major remodel of that location in October 2014.

Due to the overwhelming success of the Dalton Carpet Outlet in Appleton, a second store was opened in 2002 on Appleton's growing east side.

Dalton Carpet Outlet continued to experience growth in all locations as word spread about Dalton's low prices, professional sales staff, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

In 2008, Dalton Carpet Outlet strengthened its presence in NE Wisconsin with the addition of a 5th location in the areas' biggest city, Green Bay. The store is centrally located to serve both the west and east sides of the city.

A sixth location was added in March 2015 in Oshkosh, making us one of the largest retail flooring companies in Northeast Wisconsin.

For years Dalton Carpet Outlet has been advertising on Green Bay television stations to reach the Fox Valley and Oshkosh and now residents of Oshkosh and the surrounding area have a close and convenient location for all their flooring needs.
